Two more updates in the next 30 days

"Battlefield 2042" has been updated for the first time after its release, and many bugs have been resolved, including rubber bands and stuttering.

It is worth noting that the first day of Battlefield 2042 patch fixes the problems discovered before the game enters Early Access, so it did not address the feedback from many players in the last week or so. EA Dice stated that there will be two additional updates in the next 30 days; the first will include more bug fixes found in the first week of Early Access, and the next will be "larger and more substantial updates." At that time, we are likely to see EA Dice's plan for blooming and balance for some of the broader game issues that players are seeing.

As far as the first patch is concerned, it is designed to reduce the number of times you see enemy rubber bands or teleports, which usually happens late in the round of total war. It should also significantly reduce the lag on the Breakaway map, because the destroyed Silos should no longer negatively affect server performance.

This update apparently fixes the issue that caused the incorrect display of allies' names, and updates the animation of Falck in the end of the turn sequence. You can read about some other smaller fixes in the full patch notes, but in general, you can expect a smoother experience with today's patch and larger updates in the coming weeks.
